Luxury doesn’t begin to convey the tone and ethereal feel that this style shoot portrays. Anne-Marie Bouchard from AMB Photo and Brittany Frid from Satin & Snowflakes have assembled a super team with exceptional vendors. The entire theme of this style shoot was based around the 2013 Pantone colour, Greyed Jade, with accents of rich gold and soft whites. Adding to the earthy and organic theme, AMB Photo opted to shoot everything on classic film rather than digital—a tedious task indeed but it paid off in a big way when you take a look at the softness that film brings out. The romance, the warmth, the timelessness! Ahhh we can’t tell you how much we loved having a part in this shoot.

The Process | Complete invitation suite, menus, place cards and thank you cards were designed with a strong typographic base. Large, elegant flourished scripts were paired alongside a serif type for a modern flare. Crisp, white envelopes addressed in large greyed jade type were the perfect compliment to the suite. As an added elegant accent we did gold edge painting on the edging of each and every piece—a stunning yet subtle nod to luxury while still allowing the invite itself to proudly display its dominant colour. Look closely and you may notice a halo of gold which almost looks like a reflection. Perfection achieved.

What do we love most about style shoots? The ability to get super creative and experiment with things you otherwise may not be able to do and get out of our comfort zone!
